Great selection. Good service. Better than your average corner store. I walked in here the other day and on my way out, I dropped $200. The young man there was kind enough to pick it up and chase me to my car to give it back. I insisted on giving him some money as a reward but he refused. We need more people like him in SF.

I lived a block away from this place, so needlesstosay, it became my go-to spot for quick pick ups on my way home or on my way out. The place itself is nothing special, just your typical corner store - but what DOES make this place the best corner store in all of SF is the people! The guys who work there are AWESOME and many times I'd just pop in to say hello. They met my sister who lived in Denver at the time who came to visit, and every time after that, they ask "How is Jennifer!?!?" etc. I no longer live in SF, but I'll always remember those wonderful guys at Stewart's and if I'm ever back in the area, guaranteed I'll roll on in to say hello!

Screw the yuptards (yes, Chet and Bret, I'm talking to you) who gave this sparkling establishment 1-star reviews. All I know is that should you stumble in here with your girlfriends at 9:30 a.m. on a Sunday, all reeking of vodka and marlboro Light 100's and proceed to buy all the champagne and o.j. in the store, they will not judge you**. Not even if you're wearing your slutty minidress and 5" Jimmy Choos from the night before...oh, I may be a lush but I'm not cheap. **If you don't believe me, ask Nadja. She was there.

I love my coner store! I can get everything and anything I want there. Well, most everything. I love the guys that work there, I think they're Russian. What I don't like sometimes is how when I walk in it looks like the Projects. Scares me a little bit (but I still love the place). My purchases are usually as follows: Ben and Jerry's Crystal Geiser mineral water Tab energy drink Vodka Cigarettes freshly made sandwiches (which you don't find at every corner store!) it's its Vitamin Water and much much more. For a corner store too, it has great prices. Once in a while they have baguettes as well! Lucky!
